Renowned South Indian actress Meena entered into wedlock with Vidyasagar, an IT professional from Banglore, at Tirumala hills near here on Sunday. After tying the nuptial knot, the newly-wed couple offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara and left for Chennai, her family sources told PTI.
Thirty three-year-old Meena, who started her film career as a child artiste, has paired with top South Indian stars including Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan, Mammotty and Mohan Lal. A Chennaite, Meena who has starred in hit movies such as Muthu, Veera, Ejaman and Avvai Sanmughi in Tamil, is popular in Kannada and Telugu films also.
Her latest movie in Telugu on the life of the saint poetess – Tarigonda Vengamamba, is scheduled for release on July 17, the sources added.
