‘Achchamundu! Achchamundu!’ is officially selected for 12th Shanghai international film festival where Academy award winner Danny Boyle is heading the chair of jury.
‘Achchamundu! Achchamundu!’, a Project East West - A production has been officially selected for 12th Annual Shanghai International film festival. Prasanna, Sneha and Emmy award winner John Shea are part of the cast and this film is entirely shot in USA with futurustic Red One Camera. Yesterday, the producer’s team has been intimated by the festival that ‘Achchamundu’is part of their selection in the ‘International panorama’ category. Shanghai festival is one of the top most festival in Asia which draws 300,000 audience every year and the festival happens coming June 13th to June 21st. Thousands of films from various countries around the world compete and seventy from them are selected for the ‘panorama category. Academy award winner Danny Boyle is going to head the International festival Jury. Producers of the film Ananth Govindan, Asma Hashmi, Srinivasan Perumal, Ramzan Lakhani and Arun Vaidyanathan expressed happiness and said ‘We are really excited that our film is going to screen in one of the reputed festival of Asia’. ‘Achchamundu’ already won ‘Homegrown’ award at Garden state film festival. Arun Vaidyanathan and the producers team are expected to attend the festival and will be travelling to China during the screening of their film.
