Produced by Rajesh Kanna and Arshad Khan (who also directs the film), Sa Bu Three is a very neat romantic comedy. The movie is a well made one, as it has been a long-cherished dream of Rajesh and Arshad, who had been college mates; these two friends always dreamt of becoming famous producer-directors of Kollywood one day and when it was time for them to realize their dreams they have done a commendable job.
The film is about 4 young men and their love life. Director Arshad Khan himself plays one of the heroes in the film; others heroes are Prajin, Akshay and Rishvanth. Heroines: Midhuna, Sara, Pinky, Aksha and famous singer Ujjaini (who sang Partykku Variya in Azhagiya Tamizh Magan).
Music of this film is very special as it is from Abbas Ravi, who had been an associate to A.R. Rahman. The film has five songs; out of them only one has been shot in a beautiful set, the rest have been shot in beautiful and exotic locales. Sanjay cranks the camera for this film.
