Shriya is back to Kollywood and with a bang! She has four releases in the next six months — Kandasamy with Vikram, Jaggubhai with Sarath Kumar, Thoranai with Vishal and Kutty opposite Dhanush.
She has probably realised that it is not worth doing itsy-bitsy films in Hollywood and Bollywood with actors who do not have a reach! Now, she is trying to re-invent herself in Tamil by signing films with mid-level heroes and top banners. She has also been shortlisted to play Surya’s heroine in Singam. But the actress, who has seen a lull in her career after Sivaji, says she has not reduced her salary. “I never charged more than what I thought I deserved.
