Director Bala’s Arya starrer Naan Kadavul is likely to release for Pongal 2009. The movie Naan Kadavul is slated to be censored on the 30th of December, 2008. The Naan Kadavul film was shot in Varanasi, Kasi, Kanchipuram and Periyakulam. The audio launch of the Naan Kadavul film, which has music by maestro Ilayaraja, will take place on the New Year day. Bala has also seen to it that all his artistes, including the heroine Pooja, dub in their own voice, a criteria for entry into the award category.
