Actress Illeana whose last film in Tamil was the Shankar directed Vijay starrer ‘Nanban’ that released in 2012 shifted to Bollywood and played a powerful role in critically acclaimed film ‘Barfi.’ Now the young actress has acted in ‘Mein Tera Hero’ opposite Varun Dhawan.

Some months back the news about a hot liplock scene between Varun and Illeana shot for the film created a sensation. Now the lead pair has been indulging in the promotions of the film.

On her way to a promotional event Illeana travelled in a car that had duplicated number plate and she along with others in the car were booked by the Mumbai police.

Though Illeana and others were released within a short time, the news has brought in tremendous publicity for ‘Mein Tera Hero.’

Here’s a delightful info for you all first thing in the morning. Andrea hops on board Hari’s Poojai alongside Vishal and Shruti Haasan!

The actress will shoot for a special number in the film starting from today evening. The song will be shot in a town set up erected at Mohan Studios until 10th of May. Following this quick schedule, the team will move to Coimbatore for a long schedule that is expected to go on till the end of June.

Vishal cut his finger during the last schedule and has been resting since then. Now that he is fit, he’ll join the team soon.

Kochadaiiyaan's new release date !

An official press release from the Kochadaiiyaan team has confirmed the postponement of the film from its planned release date of 9th May. The statement suggests that nearly 6000 prints of the film were being prepared to be screened all across the world in several languages. Certain technical difficulties and unforeseen circumstances have played a part in the decision to postpone this film.

The official statement also confirms that the new release date of the film will be on May 23rd when Kochadaiiyaan will witness an unprecedented worldwide release in both 2D and 3D. The unit are confident that the audience will receive a thrilling new movie experience along with witnessing Superstar Rajinikanth in an all new avatar.

''I will decide your death'' - roars Suriya

Suriya plays the role of a fearless gangster in the upcoming Anjaan, which is set in Mumbai. Director Lingusamy states that there will be fiery punch lines from the star which will surely create a big impact in theatres. One such dialogue goes like this

"Naa saaguradha irundhalum nan dan mudivu seiyyanum
Nee saaguradha irundhalum nan dan mudivu seiyyanum"

This loosely translates to "I will not only decide my death but your death too". Manoj Bajpai plays the main villain and there are 3 other villains in the movie. Suriya has apparently pushed the limits in the action scenes.

Lingusamy also appreciates the lead pair's chemistry and Samantha's willingness to don any type of costume. She has rocked in glamour and the romance scenes, he says.

Just In - Kochadaiiyaan's release to be postponed

In a latest development, there is a cloud of doubt over the release of Superstar Rajini's Kochadaiiyaan in Tamil Nadu.

The film was all set to hit the screens on Friday, the 9th May and even advance bookings had begun in right earnest. But online bookings in all the major ticketing sites have been halted since the past hour or so, indicating that there may be issues regarding the film's release. A few people within the industry are hinting that the issues may be business related, and that the movie will hit the screens probably on May 23rd.

In a related development, the release of RS Infotainment's Yaamirukka Bayamey has been pre-poned and it will now hit the screens day after tomorrow on 9th.

Kochadaiiyaan's official PRO has meanwhile tweeted that he would be sending a press release in this regard in about an hour's time. Fans in Tamil Nadu are really eager to know what's happening.

Record numbers as Rajini takes Twitter by storm

One of the biggest news going around since yesterday, is the entry of Superstar Rajinikanth to the Twitter world. Around yesterday afternoon, the news first broke that Rajini would be marking his Twitter presence. This was soon followed by a short video byte of the star announcing his decision to try out the social media, followed by his first tweet.

Ever since his Twitter account was live, thousands of followers are getting added every minute. Even Twitter's home page has a link to Rajini's account and reminds users that the Superstar is now active on the platform. His first tweet has close to 8200 retweets, 7700 favourites and the account has close to 1.87 lakh followers (as on 10 am, May 6th).

At this rate, we can expect Rajini's twitter account to have close to a million followers by the time Kochadaiiyaan releases this weekend. That's definitely a MASS OPENING.

 தமிழ் சினிமாவில் அங்காடித்தெரு படம் மூலம் கவனிக்கப்படும் நடிகையானவர் அஞ்சலி. அதன்பிறகு படிப்படியாக முன்னணி ஹீரோக்களுடன் ஜோடி சேர்ந்து நடித்த அவர், சேட்டை படத்தில் ஆர்யாவுடன் நடித்து முடித்தபோது, மேலும் சில முன்னணி ஹீரோக்களின் படங்களுக்கான பேச்சுவார்த்தையிலும் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தார்.
