Superstar Rajini's much expected arrival in July

Kochadaiyaan’s co-producer Dr. Murali Manohar has revealed that Superstar’s latest release would come out in July in four languages totally – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English.

Post-production processes associated with the film would be completed in April it seems and the movie’s running time has been locked at 2 hours and 5 minutes. As we know Kochadaiyaan has been produced with the advanced motion capture technology which has been employed in Hollywood blockbusters like Tintin and Avatar.

Director Soundarya Ashwin will be flying to countries like China and England to give some finishing touches to the film’s VFX, in the middle of March.

The film’s budget is rumored to be 125 crores. Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone is cast opposite Rajini while Rahman is the music composer for a Rajini film yet again.

Thalaivaa says bye to Mumbai!

More progress in Thalaivaa, with one more major schedule being wrapped up. The long Mumbai schedule has come to an end. Director Vijay has already finished canning a major part of the film at a drastic pace. Starring Vijay and Amala Paul in the lead roles, the film also has Satyaraj, Rajiv Pillai, Santhanam, Ragini Nandwani, Ponvannan and Abimanyu Singh doing other pivotal characters.

The speculation is that the final schedule is likely to be shot in Australia. Nirav Shah holds the camera and GV Prakash is composing the tracks. Chandraprakash Jain is funding the project.

Udhayanidhi Stalin's new acquisition

Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s new production venture Udhayam NH4 would be distributed in Tamil Nadu by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies.

Dhayanidhi and Vetrimaaran are the joint producers of this film which stars Siddharth and newcomer Ashrita Shetty. Newbie Manimaran directs this film which has been written by Vetrimaaran himself.

G.V.Prakash’s number Yaaro Ivan for this film has already captured the imagination of melody lovers and it has been topping the FM charts. This song is also being shown prominently on TV.

With Red Giant Movies’ track record of distributing only quality entertainers, the stakes and expectations from Udhayam have really increased now.

Dhanush's protege with Selvaraghavan for the first time

Dhanush recently proudly revealed to his online fans that his brother’s next film would be produced by his own Wunderbar Films. Now, there are more updates about the crew of this project.

Anirudh Ravichander, a Dhanush constant, has been selected to compose the tunes for this Selva film. This will mark the first time that he gets an opportunity with Selva and the youngster is thrilled to bits.

Ramji would be the cameraman of this flick following his earlier associations with Selvaraghavan in movies like Aayirathil Oruvan. Another Selva regular, Kola Bhaskar would be editing this film.

More details about the cast are awaited as the hype for this project is already increasing.
