The audio of GV Films’ TN-07-AL-4777 starring Pasupathy, Ajmal, Simran and Meenakshi was launched on Friday evening at Green Park.

The film, which is a remake of the Hindi hit Taxi No 92111, will be directed by Laxmikanthan. The music for the film is composed by Vijay Antony, who is going places with numbers like Naka Muka (Kadhalil Vizhinden).

Instead of showcasing songs from the album, producers Venkatramani and Ganesh Mahadevan had the dance troupe Flyers staging two songs from the film. The chief guest at the launch event was music composer Harris Jayaraj, who had a word of praise for Vijay Antony’s music.

Actors Arya, Nakul and Shanthnoo (remember Sakkarakatti?) were at the event to wish actor Ajmal the best for his career. Among other guests present were Abirami Ramanathan, Editor Mohan, producer KT Kunjumon and director Vasanthabalan among others. Exclusive Silambattam Stills

Silambattam is all set to entertain us this chritmas!! The film is now confirmed to release worldwide on December 18, as the big Christmas release. According to sources, this film has sold out for good price in all areas and the pre-release talks are also very positive.

Silambattam, stars Silambarasan and debutante Sana Khan in the lead roles. Cinematographer Saravanan directs this film which has Simbu in the role of a Hindu, Brahmin priest. Prabhu plays the role of an inspector in ‘Silambattam’. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music. It will be the first time, that Simbu plays a Hindu priest. Silambarasan in Silambattam cast two heroines Sneha and Sana Khan and most part of the movie was filmed in temple locations as the hero himself is a “Kovil Poojari” (Temple Priest).
