Karthi's Bad Boy followed by Naughty Boys

Recently Karthi’s Alex Pandian went to the deccan region under the name Bad Boy and is gearing up for a release soon next Friday, March 22nd. Likewise the makers of Settai, the Tamil remake of Delhi Belly, have announced that the film will be dubbed and released under the title ‘Naughty Boys’.

The film has an ensemble cast that includes Arya, Hansika, Anjali, Santhanam, Premgi, Nasser and more. The laughathon is expected sometime in April and the Telugu release may take place simultaneously. Settai is produced by UTV films and directed by Kannan and Thaman has provided the soundtrack.

Venkat Prabhu shifts Biriyani to Andhra

The next schedule of Karthi’s Biriyani, directed by Venkat Prabhu will commence on March 31st and will go till the middle of April. The schedule will happen in Hyderabad.

Hansika Motwani and Premgi are Karthi’s co-stars in this movie which comes on the back of the blockbuster Mankatha. Yuvan Shankar Raja and Sakthi Saravanan continue their association with Venkat Prabhu in this movie as well.

Anirudh has been signed on for Selvaraghavan’s next film, as reported earlier and the composer recently spoke to us about this film. It seems Selva is still working on the script of this film and that the movie will surely hit the marquee in 2013.

The cast of the movie is yet to be decided. Anirudh also doesn’t have an idea about the number of songs he would be required to compose in the movie as the script has to decide that.

Meanwhile, Ethir Neechal scored by Anirudh will hit the theaters in the 3rd or 4th week of April. He is happy with his BGM work for Ethir Neechal and also with the performance of Siva Karthikeyan.

Action King Arjun wins the state award for Best Actor

Action King Arjun has won the Karnataka State Award for the year 2012, thanks to his performance in the movie Prasad. The actor is understandably elated at this feat.

Prasad was directed by Manoj Sathi and had music by Maestro Ilaiyaraja. The film released in March 2012 and was even selected for screening at the prestigious Berlin Film Festival.

A.R.Murugadoss Productions and Fox Star Studios Vatthikuchi is releasing today all over the state and the movie has kicked off a good wave of anticipation across audiences.

ARM has also arranged a special screening of this movie to his Thuppakki Hindi remake’s hero Akshay Kumar. The hero of Vatthikuchi, Dileepan, is a big fan of Akshay and he would be eager to know what his favorite hero thinks of his debut venture.
