Malaysia is open for Vishwaroopam

The ban on Vishwaroopam in Malaysia has been lifted and the film is re-releasing in the country. The film released worldwide on 24th January, including in Malaysia. But the country banned the film the next day in order to prevent any law and order crisis.

Following the film's release in Tamil Nadu on 7th February after facing a number of controversies, it was also expected to release in Malaysia. But the re-release has come a bit delayed.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan has already started his work for the sequel. It has been said that the lead characters will be retained and the story will have India as its background this time.

Will Ajith and Bala be third time lucky ?

Bala and Ajith had tried to join hands twice before in the past, with movies like Nandha and Naan Kadavul but somehow it didn’t work out.

When the director was recently asked if he will ever do a project with Ajith again, he replied in a philosophical manner stating that things which weren’t predicted to happen might happen, while things which were supposed to happen don’t happen. So he seems to have left it to destiny to decide if he and Ajith would reunite.

Bala responds to Vijay's wish

Vijay had openly expressed an interest in the past to do a film with director Bala. To this the director has responded by saying that it shows the magnanimity of Vijay to express his wish in public. If the two work together, the director wishes to show the star in an altogether different range which hasn’t been touched by the star till now.

If such a theme and character sketch come up, Bala surely intends to execute such a project with Vijay. Fingers crossed till then!

Kochadaiyaan is being locked…

Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiyaan is being wrapped up, announced the director of the film and the daughter of the Superstar, Soundarya R Ashwin. “Been busy locking the film,” posted Soundarya in her social networking page.

The post-production process is happening at a rapid pace and the dubbing for the film will start next month. The audio will release soon, declared the director.

AR Rahman is scoring the tunes and the entire film is being made using Performance Capture Technology. Deepika Padukone, Sarath Kumar, Rukmini Vijaykumar, Shobana and Jackie Shroff play pivotal roles.
