The lead pair of Indira Vizha Namitha and Srikanth are the Judges of Boys vs Girls reality show on Vijay TV, on Friday and Saturday 8 PM. The movie story revolves around lady boss Namitha who tires to seduce her handsome employee Srikanth. The story revolves around 3 main characters namely, Santhosh Srinivasan - role played by Srikanth,Kamini played by Namitha and Savithri-played by Hemamalini who is Srikanth’s wife in the movie.

The movie is said to be inspired by Hollywood flick ‘Disclosure’. Demi Moore and Michael Douglas played lead in that film. The movie has also been made into Bollywood movie by the name of Aitraz with Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles.

Rahman comes home the hero!!

Friends and Fans thronged the chennai airport in the wee hours of 2:30 am thursday to welcome home their hero. A R Rahman returned by an emirites filight to a rousing welcome at the Anna International Air Terminal after winning two oscars at the 81st Academy awards function the happened in LA on Feb 22nd. The ‘Mozart of Madras’ was cheered as he emerged from the international terminal to the beats of drum specialist Sivamani. While Sivamani’s troupe performed, a little away was another team from Kerala playing traditional music to herald the return of the hero. Rahman will be felicitated March 1 by the Cine Musicians’ Union. Rahman won the Oscars for Best Original Music and Best Song for his compositions in Slumdog Millionaire.

Siripoli on Kalaignar TV

Here is good news to all the people looking for laughs after a long day. Kalaignar TV and Social Media has teamed together to launch a 24 hr comedy channel called Siripoli. This is the second channel in Tamil of its kind dedicated solely to comedy. Sun TV already runs a channel caled Aditya.

The channel was officially launched by Padmashree Kamal Hassan. The function had singers Krish and Kalpana performing the ulaganayagan’s songs.

Chief Financial Officer of Kalaignar TV, P.Amirtham, actor Napolean and producer Abhirami S.Ramanathan were among those who participated. Kamal Hassan in his speech urged that the Tamil film Industry should not be referred by the name Kollywood.
