Mumbai model Sanaa Khan has been paired with Simbu in his upcoming film ‘Silambattam’.

Silambattam Music Album got released on 20th of October. Silambattam, stars Silambarasan and debutante Sana Khan in the lead roles. Cinematographer Saravanan directs this film which has Simbu in the role of a Hindu, Brahmin priest. Prabhu plays the role of an inspector in ‘Silambattam’. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music. It will be the first time, that Simbu plays a Hindu priest. Silambarasan in Silambattam cast two heroines Sneha and Sana Khan and most part of the movie was filmed in temple locations as the hero himself is a “Kovil Poojari” (Temple Priest). Let’s worship the Gods with Simbu and Silambattam in November.

First look of Aamir’s Ghajini!!


Actor Aamir Khan on Tuesday (October 28) unveiled the first look of his much-awaited film ‘Ghajini’, in Mumbai. The one-minute promo shows Khan in his new six-pack abs, for which he had to work out four to five hours every day for several months.

To gift the audience something innovative and new every time remains the only attempt of perfectionist Aamir Khan.

The film clip also shows leading lady Asin. Aamir said it was quite difficult for him to work on his new looks as he was required to build a perfect body, including six-pack abs.

Ghajini is the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil film Ghajini directed by AR Murugadoss. The film is inspired by the critically acclaimed film ‘Memento’ by Christopher Nolan, with the common theme of the protagonist suffering from anterograde amnesia or short term memory loss and seeking revenge for his wife’s murder.
The film is slated for release in December.

Seeman, Ameer bail plea hearing on Oct 31


Directors Ameer and Seeman were arrested on October 24 in Chennai in connection with a case registered against them in Ramanathapuram for charges of sedition.

The police took both Seeman and Ameer to Madurai by flight and brought them to the Ramanathapuram court in the morning.

A sessions court in Ramanathapuram on Tuesday posted the bail applications of Tamil film directors Seeman and Ameer, arrested on sedition charges, to October 31 for hearing.

On October 25, Judicial Magistrate Thangavel in Ramanathapuram had rejected their bail pleas when they were produced before him consequent to the arrest and remanded them to judicial custody till November 7.

The two are currently in the Central Prison in Madurai.
