Poova Thalaiya, will have Sherin dub in her own voice for the first time. Sanjay Ram who is the producer of the movie has taken up song writing along with story, screenplay, dialogue for the movie. The movie is based on a true story that took place in Thanjavur. Sanjay Ram recently wrote a song for the film.

Sherin, Megha Nair, Swetha, Kadhal Dandapani and Chaplie Balu star in the film along with Krishna and Udaya. The shooting for Poova Thalaya is currently going on in Chennai.

Poova Thalaiya, is a movie to be directed by Raja Mahesh and produced by Sanjay Ram. The movie stars Krishna, Sherin and others. Sherin is said to be looking real glamorous in this movie Poova Thalaiya. She makes a comeback to kollywood after a brief sabbatical after Urchagam. Sherin made her debut in the Tamil movie Thulluvatho Ilamai opposite Dhanush.

The movie is a village-based story with Krishna as a debut hero.

JayamKondan and DhamDhoom on Aug 29th

The upcomming weekend will see the release of two of the much awaited movies, Jayamkondan and Dhaam Dhoom. Both the movies have undergone the censor cut with a clean U certificate.

Jeyam Kondaan is finally hitting the theatres after its anticipated release in July. The movie is being directed by first-timer R. Kannan, who was earlier assisting Mr. Mani Ratnam. The film has music by Vidyasagar and lyrics by Vaali. The camera is being handled by cameraman Balasubramaniam of ‘Pithamagan’ fame. The movie is the next venture of Sathyjothi Films after the sucess of ‘Em Magan’. Unnale Unnale fame Vinay plays the lead role and supported by Bhavana and Lekha. Music is by Vidyasagar.

Dhaam Dhoom movie will have Jayam Ravi playing the lead in the movie with Kangana Ranaut and Lakshmi Rai. Dhaam Dhoom is the story of a young man from a small town whose life suddenly turns topsy-turvy during one of his trips out of India. An action-thriller, there is much mystery and heart-stopping chases and twists and turns before the audience can figure out what’s going on.

Saroja to release on Sep 5th

Movie Saroja has managed to squeeze a clean ‘U’ certificate out of the censor board and is all ready to hit the theatres on September 5th. Two years after that ode to gully cricket, Chennai 600028, Venkat Prabhu is back with Saroja, a thriller whose numbers are already scorching the music charts.

Saroja has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, composed in a record two days. S.P.B. Charan, Premgi Amaran and Chennai 28 Shiva along with new face Vaibhav form the lead actors in this movie.

The filmmakers are planning to release the film in both Tamil and Telugu. T Siva is producing the Saroja film that also stars Tamil actor Cheran in a key role.

Sarath`s Jaggubhai in Bangkok

Sarath Kumar’s next movie Jaggubhai has started rolling in Bangkok without much fanfare and will continue shooting for the next couple of months. Sarath will be shuttling between Chennai and Bangkok to manage his movie and political engagements.

The film would portray Sarath Kumar in two get-ups. One as a young man and the other as the father of a teenage daughter. The daughter’s role will be played by Shriya Saran.

The movie will be directed by K.S Ravikumar. It can be recalled that the film Cheran Pandiyan directed by K.S Ravikumar was his first hit and also was Sarath Kumar’s first film as hero. The Sarath-Ravi Kumar pair has also given the super blockbuster Nattami. Lets hope they repeat the success story in this movie too.

Actor Vijay is all set to become the hunter in his next movie Vettaikarran, which he is expected to star after the completion of his current movie Villu. The film is being produced by M. Balasubramanian and B.Gurunath Meiyappan.

This is the first time the actor is doing a movie under the AVM banner. The buzz is that actress Asin might be paired opposite Vijay in this movie.

It can be recalled that Vettaikaran is the title of the yesteryear superhit movie by M.G.R. Wishing Vijay all the success for this movie.

S.A. Chandrasekhar, Vijay’s father, is directing and producing the Pandhayam film. Nithin Sathya has been roped in for the lead role in Pandhayam film. In ‘Chennai 600028,’ Nitin Sathyaa made a mark as the brother of the heroine. And then, there was ‘Thozha’ as one in a four-hero subject. And then, in ‘Sathum Podaathay,’ he was that detestable psycho in a two-hero story centering on Padmapriya.

Now in ‘Pandhayam,’ Nitin Sathyaa will have announced his arrival on the Kollywood front as a hero to carry on a film entirely on his shoulders. Pandhayam movie has musical score by Vijay Anthony. Sindhu Tolani and Prakashraj are other lead roles in Pandhayam.
