Rajiv Menon directs Seetha for his students

Rajiv Menon a well known cinematographer and filmmaker will be donning the mantle of director and will be seen directing a short film for the students of a film institute owned by him. Titled “Sita”, the film will star actresses Spandana and Revathy, a press release said.

Rajiv Menon has given us blockbusters like ‘Minsara Kanavu’ and ‘Kandu Kondein’. He had been part of several Manirathinam films cranking the camera.

Divya has been making great strides in Kollywood and is elated to be the part of this Rajiv Menon project. Rajiv’s film institute named after his production company Mindscreen, the institute trains students in various aspects of filmmaking.

The movie Guru En Aalu directed by Selva will have Madhavan and Mamta Mohandas in the lead roles. Abbas, Brinda Parekh and Vivek are also part of the cast. Maddy- Abbas are a great combo and the duo rocked in Gautham Menon’s debut film Minnale, a few years ago.

Apart from Selvah, who directs the Guru En Aalu film, the cinematographer for the Guru En Aalu project is Senthil Kumar, while the editor is National Award winner, V T Vijayan. The dialogues for Aziz Mirza’s script is handled by L Venkatesan and lyrics are written by Pa Vijay, Kabilan and Pazhani Bharathi. Srikanth Deva is the music diector for the film Guru En Aalu.
